Nice to start a weekend morning in such a cozy place and to have the first meal with an affordable price. Though I am not against restaurant/cafe chain business as long as the quality is good, I am more than happy to see more and more individual cafe in its own style and with its own characteristics.

OMG it's a hidden gem in Helsinki city. The lady at the reception is very sweet and I just loved the granola yoghurt bowl. It's probably one of the cheapest places in Helsinki for breakfast. 10/10

Tofu Skewers, Watermelon & the Perfect Pulla Encanto Art Café in Helsinki is a charmingly offbeat spot that blends creativity with conscious dining. I visited for lunch on a sunny afternoon, a welcome shift after a spell of rain, and took a seat outside with a colleague. Despite the lunchtime peak, the brief wait was entirely reasonable and well worth it. I ordered the salad with tofu skewers, which arrived attractively plated. The salad was fresh and generously portioned, with an unexpected but delightful addition of watermelon slices. The tofu skewers were grilled to perfection - nicely seasoned and satisfying - and the dressing, dotted with black sesame seeds, brought a subtle depth to the dish. It left me comfortably full without being heavy. With the meal came a complimentary coffee, which I enjoyed alongside a pulla (purchased separately) taken to go. Their pulla never disappoints - soft, delicately spiced, and consistently excellent. It’s one of those rare items that could easily justify a journey across town. Encanto offers a warm (in the human sense) and unmistakably personal environment. Its artistic flair and independent spirit make it a refreshing alternative to the more formulaic chain cafés around Helsinki. Delicious arepas, smoothies and more. Quite a discovery as we pass nearby regularly and didn’t see it before. The place has charm and is very chill, sun pouring through the windows. Waitress is very nice and served us very promptly and politely. A pleasure.

Lovely little cafe, option to sit outside or cosy inside. Friendly staff. Chose the €10 breakfast options where I chose a coffee. Overnight oats and rye bread. All very tasty. Few other options you can pick from too. Great for vegans and vegetarians. Would recommend.
